You'll play a critical role in safeguarding our business by detecting, preventing, and investigating financial crimes. You'll delve into complex investigations, analyze intricate data, and make informed decisions to mitigate risks. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and protecting our reputation.
What you’ll do:
KYC screening & monitoring:
perform PEP/Sanctions reviews and investigations, prepare detailed reports to be escalated to Senior management for approval.
Review UBO related queries, conduct profile review.
Act as KYC processes SME for team members in relation to complex case handling, non-standard escalations review.
Respond to acquirer/partner requests and support internal and external audits or due diligence requests.
Support the KYC team by providing training when needed, organising knowledge-sharing sessions, and offering guidance on challenging investigations.
Projects & stakeholder management:
Own assigned KYC process improvement related projects/initiatives from idea to implementation stage.
Prepare and deliver presentations on KYC projects and processes during internal meetings and forums.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to gather necessary information, share updates, new requirements, and project progress.
Identify trends or issues in KYC processes and escalate them to relevant stakeholders when necessary.
Work closely with the KYC team leader to understand the team’s challenges, and provide support to initiate necessary improvements, clarify process uncertainties, and resolve operational challenges.
You’ll be great for this position if:
Proven KYC/AML expertise: 2+ years of experience in KYC/AML, including at least 1 year in conducting in-depth PEP/Sanctions investigations.
Strategic problem-solving: proven ability to analyze complex investigations, provide actionable insights, and escalate critical issues to senior stakeholders
Regulatory acumen: Strong understanding of KYC regulations and compliance standards.Project Management and Knowledge Development: proven experience in key project management techniques and methods as well as conducting training and supporting team knowledge development
Data-driven approach: Proficient in data analysis and leveraging tools like Microsoft Excel and Tableau.
Adaptability and accountability: Thrives in dynamic environments, taking ownership of tasks and delivering results.
Effective communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities.
