Senior AML Analyst

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing KYC process, focusing on high-risk areas such PEP, sanctions, and UBO investigations.  You will be able to drive process improvements and automation initiatives, ensure quality standards are met, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the business.You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization from financial crime.

What you’ll do:

  • KYC Process Ownership and Improvement: Oversee and optimize Level 2 KYC processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance  

  • Quality Assurance (QA) Management: Oversee KYC QA framework, monitor process quality, and make improvements by analyzing metrics and implementing necessary adjustments the QA process

  • Project and Stakeholder Management: Own KYC-related projects, including automation initiatives, to improve efficiency and collaborate with stakeholders

  • Regulatory and Compliance Guidance: Ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations and support audits and due diligence requests

  • Collaboration with KYC Team Lead: Work closely KYC team lead to address challenges and improve processes

  • Process Monitoring and Reporting: Analyze process metrics, identify issues, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders 

You’ll be great for this position if:

  • Strong background in KYC/AML roles with a proven track record of independently managing processes and projects 

  • In-depth knowledge of PEP/Sanctions investigation processes of hands-on experience investigating PEP and sanctions alerts

  • Proficiency with compliance tools and a solid understanding of risk-based investigation approaches

  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex investigations, providing clear analysis, escalation, and actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders

  • Strong analytical thinking with keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills

  • Experience in process documentation, ensuring procedures are clearly defined and up-to-date

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for various stakeholders.

  • Effective collaboration and teamwork, building relationships and working cross-functionally with ease

Salary starts at 2,956 EURO monthly gross per month + VSOP - our virtual stock ownership program
