Onboarding Agent with Spanish (fintech)

As an Onboarding Agent, you will facilitate the verification process for our clients - small to medium European businesses. At the same time, the Onboarding team ensures that SumUp follows the highest compliance standards and is compliant with all applicable AML regulations.

In this role, you will provide support to our clients exclusively through non-voice communication (no phone) during daytime flexible hours. 

What you'll do

  • Communicate with newly registered merchants predominantly via email and occasionally via chat

  • Review and verify merchants’ registration documents

  • Resolve varying levels of queries in a timely and efficient manner

  • Follow best practices and company policies and procedures

  • Identify changes which can be made that will improve efficiency and customer experience

  • Be equally comfortable working on your own and as part of a team

Your profile

  • You have excellent command of English 

  • You have very good command of Spanish

  • You are a strong team player and able to interact with colleagues at all levels

  • You have strong time management and organizational skills

  • You are enthusiastic, dedicated and willing to learn

  • You have previous experience in handling support email queries (an advantage)

  • You are comfortable working with data and attention to details
