Our Talent Acquisition Team is currently made up of people from 15+ different countries, and we’re growing and diversifying each month. We’re split across 4 main locations - Berlin, São Paulo, Sofia and Chile and we are key supporters of SumUp’s ongoing agile transformation, helping stakeholders approach their hiring needs in an agile manner.
What you’ll do
Partner with Operation’s hiring managers and other key stakeholders to help them evaluate and structure hiring needs for roles of varying seniority (from entry-level up to specialist roles) across Sofia and Berlin
Take ownership of the end-to-end recruitment cycle and make accountable hiring decisions together with the hiring managers
Be a cultural gatekeeper for our Operations and Support Teams - making sure that as we continue to grow, we bring in not only the best people, but people that live and breathe our values
Help to guide and develop hiring managers within talent acquisition processes and topics
Add value to our recruiting processes by leveraging current trends in active sourcing and recruiting while driving improvements that impact local pipeline areas
Work closely with other acquisition teams across the globe on projects and initiatives to ensure continuous optimisation and development of the team, our processes and SumUp’s future development
Determine strategies to ensure diverse teams and an inclusive workplace culture
You’ll be great for this role if
You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English.
You have 3+ years of in-house and/or search firm end-to-end recruiting experience and have worked to fill high-volume roles and language-specific jobs with focus on maintaining quality hires and a good candidate experience.
You love getting to know people - you’ll be the 1st point of contact for the majority of candidates in Operations and it will be up to you to understand who they are and if they’d be a good fit.
Candidates love you and hiring managers consider you their recruitment counselor.
You’re knowledgeable about sourcing techniques like LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, events and Boolean searches.
You’re familiar with applicant tracking systems and resume databases.
You have strong interviewing skills - behavioral and technical interviews are part of your daily life.
You’re results-oriented, easy-going, entrepreneurial and passionate about recruiting.
You are a team player and can adapt to constant change.
