We are looking for a Senior QA engineer to join our Acquiring squad. As such you will have the opportunity to contribute to the core of SumUp’s product ecosystem - payment processing - by ensuring that SumUp provides a fast, secure and highly available card payment processing platform to it’s merchants.

What you'll do
You will be working in an agile cross-functional squad
You will be driving the test automation initiatives in your squad by taking a collaborative approach, sharing your knowledge and expertise, building awareness and common understanding of quality
You will take part in feature discussions and have the opportunity to improve our customers' experience
You will participate in handling issues reported from end customers, including investigation, communication and delivery of fixes
You will promote the quality guidelines set by the QA chapter within your squad and ensure these guidelines are adequate for your squad’s specific needs
You’ll be great for this role if
You have good command of any high-level language such as Java/Ruby
You have fundamental understanding about web applications & REST/microservices;
You are eager to learn and develop new skills
You have experience in building test automation at any level
You have a university degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent experience in software development;
You are a self-driven, focussed and communicative person;
You are fluent in English - you'll be part of a truly global company!
Experience with CI and/or DevOps skills will be considered a great advantage;
Experience in FinTech will be considered a plus;
