Internal Auditor

About the Internal Audit area 

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated and organised Internal Auditor. As a part of the Internal Audit team in our Vilnius office, you’ll enhance and protect organisational value by providing independent risk-based and objective assurance, advice and insight. 

What you’ll do

  • Monitor and evaluate how well risks are being managed, the business is governed and internal processes are working.

  • Support the Internal Audit Function in delivering timely, insightful, valued, risk-based audits through the effective delivery of the annual audit plan

  • Anticipate emerging issues through research and interviews, identify root causes of issues, provide recommendations on how best to deal with them, implement actions to address and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

  • Draft and deliver high quality internal audit reports to the Board

  • Track implementation of recommended processes designated to strengthen internal controls

  • Provide consulting services as needed across the business

  • Manage a variety of stakeholders and their expectations through regular communications

  • Co-ordinate communications and requests for regulators

You’ll be great for this position if 

  • You are a Qualified internal auditor or accountant i.e (CIA, ACCA, CPA, etc) with 5 years’ experience in Audit with at least 3 years’ experience as an internal auditor

  • Experience in risk-based auditing and risk / control activities (desired in banking and / or fintech)

  • You have knowledge in International standards for the professional practice of internal auditing, as well as European regulations such as Data Protection, AML, Payment Regulations and Consumer Protection

  • You have a high degree of professional ethics and integrity

  • You’re organised, analytical, pragmatic, solution-orientated, and able to prioritise and execute projects in an ever-changing business environment

  • You’re self-driven, detail-oriented and adept at time management

  • You’re able to analyse situations and information quickly, and confident at escalating issues when appropriate

  • You have experience managing a variety of stakeholders including senior management

  • You have excellent computer and online skills

  • You’re fluent in English and Lithuanian, with strong communication, written and interpersonal skills

  • You’re willing to travel as required
