SumUp Pay Promotional Code Campaign Terms and Conditions

Effective as of 22 January 2025

Organiser of the promotional campaign is:

SumUp EU Payments UAB, a limited liability company with company registration number 305074395 and registered office in Vilnius, Lithuania for the territory of Italy and Germany and

SumUp Payments Limited, a company with limited liability incorporated in England and Wales with its registered number 07836562 and with its registered office at 16-20 Shorts Gardens, London WC2H 9US, UK for the United Kingdom 

(“SumUp” , “ we ”, “ us ”).

These Тerms and Conditions apply to campaigns in which you are given the opportunity to redeem a promotional code in SumUp Pay. Specific additional conditions may be displayed in the available and active SumUp advertisement where the promotional code is displayed.

  1. The promotional code can be used only once per person.

  2. The promotional code has no cash value and no cash or credit alternative will be offered for it.

  3. To use the promotional code, you should have a SumUp Pay Account and SumUp Pay Mastercard. To do this you should first download our SumUp Pay app (you need to have a compatible device and an Internet connection), fill in all the requested details and accept our Personal Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Furthermore, you have to successfully complete the KYC process by providing your personal information alongside a valid identification document, if requested. Please note that you're only eligible to use the promotional code if your identification has been approved and your profile has been verified. We reserve the right to reject the verification if it does not meet SumUp’s internal standards. 

  4. The promotional code can be used for transactions made via SumUp Pay, if you have a SumUp Pay Account registered in Germany, Italy or the United Kingdom.

  5. Your promotional code is part of a promotion balance that is visible in the home screen of your SumUp Pay Account. To redeem the promotional code, you must apply it in the necessary field in the SumUp Pay App, if not already automatically applied. The relevant discount will be automatically deducted from the final price of the first purchase you make with your SumUp Pay Mastercard after the promotional code was applied. 

  6. The promotional code can be applied in your SumUp Pay Account until July 31, 2025. 

  7. Once the promotional code is applied to your SumUp Pay Account, if not used, it will expire in 30 days.

  8. The promotional code is only applicable for a single transaction, unless specified otherwise in the promotional code campaign.

  9. If a purchase is made using the promotional code and partially paid by usual payment, you will only earn cashback for the amount paid with the usual payment method  (i. e. paid with a currency), but not for the value of the entire purchase. That means that you will not earn cashback for the part of payment which got covered by the promotional code.

  10. The promotional code may not be used in combination with any other discount coupons, promotions or special offers.

If you violate any of the Terms and Conditions, the promotion will be invalid, and the promotional code will not apply.
