• 1.69% for all other in-person payments (including American Express and premium cards)
• 2.5% for online payments

With Payments Plus (£19 /month):

• 0.00% for in-person payments made with a SumUp card
• 0.99% for in-person payments made with domestic debit and credit cards
• 1.69% for in-person payments made with premium, international, and American Express cards
• 2.5% for online payments

Yes, you can accept cash payments easily through the SumUp business app.

There are no transaction fees for cash payments, giving you full flexibility to offer your customers more ways to pay.

No, you’ll only pay for successful transactions. If a payment is declined, you won’t be charged anything.

Payments Plus is designed to help you save on transaction fees while keeping things flexible.

With Payments Plus, you get:

• Lower in-person transaction fees (from 1.69% down to 0.99%*)
• Flexible monthly plan that you can cancel anytime 

*0.99% applies to debit and credit cards. American Express and premium cards are charged at 1.69%.

Payments Plus costs:

• £19 per month, or
• £189 per year (save 17%)

SumUp charges a fixed percentage per transaction, depending on your plan and how you take payments.

With Pay-as-you-go:

• 0.00% for in-person payments made with a SumUp card
• 1.69% for other in-person payments (including premium, international, and American Express cards)
• 2.5% for online payments (e.g. Payment Links, Bookings, or other digital products)

With Payments Plus (£19/month):

• 0.00% for in-person payments made with a SumUp card
• £19 for in-person payments made with domestic debit and credit cards
• £19 for in-person payments made with premium, international, and American Express cards
• 2.5% for online payments (e.g. Payment Links, Bookings, or other digital products)

You’ll be able to access your money in your free, included SumUp Business Account by 7am the next day - even on weekends and public holidays.

• Your Business Account comes with a free Mastercard that you can then use to spend what you earn.

You can benefit from 0% transaction fees when customers pay with a personal SumUp card.

Every time a customer uses their SumUp card:

• You’re charged 0% fees and keep 100% of the payment
• Your customer earns 5% cashback on their purchase

There’s no setup required—it works automatically for all eligible in-person payments.
