Get paid with just your smartphone

To use Tap to Pay on iPhone you’ll need to make sure that you’re using an iPhone XS or newer which is running the latetst iOS.

To use Tap to Pay on Android you’ll need to be running Android 8 or higher.

Both Tap to Pay on iPhone and Android require you to download the free SumUp app to use.

With both Tap to Pay on iPhone and Android, you can accept Visa, Mastercard and Maestro payments, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay and other digital wallets. American Express cards are not currently supported by Tap to Pay on Android.

Tap to Pay on iPhone and Tap to Pay on Android are free to set up. With both Tap to Pay products, you’ll only pay a small transaction fee of 1.69% on each payment you take with your smartphone.

There is no limit for Tap to Pay on iPhone.

Tap to Pay on Android has a per-transaction limit of £100 when paid with a physical card. There is no limit when it comes to payments made with digital wallets.
