Getting started with Tap to Pay on iPhone is really simple. To enable it:

1. Download the free SumUp app and create your SumUp profile

2. Tap the settings icon in the top right of the app home screen

3. Select ‘Tap to Pay on iPhone’ and complete the steps to set up

With Tap to Pay on iPhone, accepting payments is easy:

1. Open the SumUp app on your iPhone, enter an amount, tap ‘Charge,’ and select ‘Tap to Pay on iPhone’.

2. Present your iPhone to the customer.

3. Your customer holds their card horizontally or their device at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol for a few seconds.

4. When you see the Done checkmark, the card read is complete and the transaction is being processed.
