Download the SumUp App in the App Store or Google Play Store.
Open the app on your phone and log in with your SumUp account.
When asked to buy a reader, click “I already have a reader” on the top right and “Continue to Dashboard”.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your account set up.
Accepting Mobile Payments
When a customer wants to make a cashless payment, open your SumUp App and:
Enter the amount of the payment and tap “Charge”.
Select “Mobile Payments” and choose one of the 3 options: “Show QR code”, “Share payment link” or “Send via SMS”.
Now have the customer scan the QR-Code with his/her smartphone camera or pay through the shared link by entering their card details.
After the “Transaction approved” message has appeared, you can email or text the receipt to your customer.
